Today we are part of the worldwide Bosch Group and the expertise centre of Bosch Thermotechnology for large-scale and industrial boiler systems. Up until the middle of 2012 the systems were sold and distributed under the LOOS brand name, now we have consolidated our strengths and we sell our products under the Bosch brand name.

The UNIVERSAL UL-S boiler is a 3-pass shell boiler with internal wetback reversal chamber. The asymmetrical design of flame tube and smoke tubes enables higher output, compact dimensions and a large capacity steam chamber. The integrated economizer enables extraordinarily high efficiency and future proof low emission levels.

The robust design of the UL-S has been proven more than
80,000 times in practice, some of the first produced UL-S
boilers are actively used by our customers for over 60 years.

All dimensions and weights are approximate based upon a salty boiler operation, boiler working pressure of 10 bar G and an exhaust temperature of 140 °C (incl. ECO). All numbers are exemplary.

All Bosch boilers are produced exactely to the customers‘ project specific requirements. Fuel consumption oil, based on LFO, NCV 11.89 kWh/Nm³. Fuel consumption gas, based on natural gas H, NCV 10.35 kWh/Nm³. Fuel consumption based on mean operating pressure 8.5 bar G and max. working pressure 10 bar G. Efficiency calculation following the EN 12953-11.
